DAMAR GUM

We have different quality of Damar resin as below. We provide 6 qualities of Damar Gum, start from the best quality Damar gum ABX which is usually requested buyer from other country. This grade has very good clarity and the color clear cream to yellow. And also ABX grade has bigger size for each.

Damar gum mainly used for industrial purpose. Now, Damar gum specialy Damar Mata Kucing is used for fragrance or natural incense because when you burn it, Damar gum will make a very unique and aromatherapy smell. Since it is natural took from the tree Shorea Javanica, Damar gum also good for health such us : Increase calm and focus, reduce stress and anxiety, aid sleep, stimulate creativity, air purification and more.

STYRAX BENZOIN GUM SUMATERA 

Benzion (Styrax benzoin) from Sumatra is a smooth balsam resin with a floral background. Benzoin is a common ingredient in incense-making and perfumery because of its vanilla aroma and fixative properties. Gum benzoin is a major component of the type of church incense used in Russia and some other Orthodox Christian societies.

 

DAMAR BATU/ DAMAR MERANTI INDONESIA

Damar Batu is a yellowish brown colored, stone-shaped hard resin, obtained from a particular variety of the Dipterocarp species. Unlike gum damar which is taken directly from the tree, the resin of Damar Batu is obtained under ground in fossilized form, close to the tree roots. It is found mainly in South Sumatra and Kalimantan. The quality of Damar Batu is determined mainly by the size of the resin lump, their color and the amount of damar dust accompanying each lot.
